Sherlock Hiatus Recommendation #10: Green Wing.
Green Wing is basically a sketch show with repeating characters, soap opera hijinks, with a large dose of comedic surrealism. It is possibly one of the only hospital based series to have no focus whatsoever on patients or medicine, which is fantastic because we get more time with the oddball characters.
- [Caroline and Mac talk to some students about medicine.]
- Mac: "Any final thoughts, Dr. Todd?"
- Caroline: "Don’t get ill. We make you all sleepy and do terrible things."
- Mac: "Wise words indeed."

I feel like the only one watching this show because of Green Wing instead of Friends.
I keep on expecting Mac or Sue White to pop up for a cameo.
